Alan See
Group CEO (Founder)
FIRMUS LIMITED

Alan See, 15 years of experience in info-security solution and services, he is the founder of Firmus.

He was the Managing Director and Regional VP of e-Cop Malaysia/Greater China (including HK SAR) from 2001-2008, he brought to the organization extensive experience in the IT industry particularly within the area of Information security. In this position at e-Cop, he was responsible for charting all aspects of the company's strategic direction in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Greater China, from product development through to the support, sales and global expansion. Under his leadership, e-Cop has won the best MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) from Frost and Sullivan for 2005 and 2008. He was appointed the Chairman of judges' panel for MSC-APICTA Award Security Product category for 2004 - 2009. He represented MDEC to judge in APICTA HK (2005) and Jakarta (2008) as well.

Married with 2 children, Alan holds a Degree in Computer Science, from Campbell University, US.

Eric Yeow
Vice President (Founder)

Eric Yeow co-founded FIRMUS in 2008 after more than 10 years of experience working in the info-security industry. Prior to this, Eric was the Business Director of e-Cop Malaysia during his tenure there from 2001 – 2008 and was responsible for the development of new businesses and leading the sales force of the company. Under his sales leadership, e-Cop’s dominance in the Malaysian MSS market was unassailable and was recognised as the de-facto MSS market leader within info-security circles.

Eric has a Degree in Business Administration from The University of Tasmania, Australia.

Eddie Chau
Non-Executive Chairman (Founder)

Eddie Chau formed Firmus in 2008 after successfully incubating e-Cop Pte Ltd, a company he founded in 2000, to a market leader in Info-Security Industry. e-Cop was acquired in 2007 by a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holding Pte Ltd.

Before founding Firmus, Eddie Chau was the CEO of e-Cop. He brought to the organization his extensive experience in the IT arena. He led and charted all aspects of e-Cop group's strategic direction from product development through to professional consultancy services, technology development, sales and global expansion. Under his dynamic leadership and vision, e-Cop has grown to be the market leader in the Info-Security industry with international presence spanning more than 20 countries.

Before founding and spearheading e-Cop in 2000, Chau held senior positions in IBM and Computer Associates Inc. With more than 20 years of experience in business and IT, he is often called upon by the industry to speak on information security issues and entrepreneurship. Chau has also appeared on CNBC Asia and Channel News Asia, Intelligent Enterprise, MIS Asia, Network Computing Asia and SC Magazine, to name a few.

Married with two children, Chau holds an MSc in Communication Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Rolf Schulz
Managing Partner

Rolf Schulz is a well respected risk management / info-sec expert and is also a renowned systems analyst / network specialist. His research work focuses on multilevel security (MLS), covert channel analysis and new methods of risk assessments for large scaled systems. Today, he is one of the leading experts in the field of critical information infrastructure protection, combining deep technical skill with his long years of experience as a manager and consultant.

His clients span the globe, covering the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. This has given Rolf a unique international perspective on security issues. This extensive experience and knowledge makes him a much sought after speaker for many conferences and seminars such as; the IMF (Incident Management & Forensics) in Germany, F.I.R.S.T Conference and the GovCert.NL Cybercrime Symposium in Amsterdam.

Rolf is the Chairman of EMEA for the prestigious Corporate Executive Program (CEP) - F.I.R.S.T and a member of the advisory board of Cyberguard Corporation. He is also in the steering committee of the German CERT Association. Rolf has been serving for more than 15 years as a well-known security consultant for many governments worldwide especially in the area of critical infrastructure protection. He is still active in research, e.g. as a consortium member in CARMENTIS, a national German early warning system.
